Sons And Daughters to support The Editors

Link

Sons & Daughters album title track 'This Gift' will be the new single released on April 21st on Domino.

'This Gift' is realised with a heady mix of contrasting guitar riffs; plunging from desert-rock, into singing indie and back to Goth-blues, Sons & Daughters come on like a Scottish Queen’s Of The Stone Age spliced with The Smiths. The single is available for download and on 7” b/w 'The Party', an exclusive brand new track unavailable on the album.

“A truly remarkable record.” – DAZED & CONFUSED
“Dry and jagged like a rusty saw, the songs ooze intrigue and drama. Irresistible.” - INDEPENDENT ON SUNDAY

“Maturity bastardised with ecstatically wicked-eyed energy. Fucking great.” - PLAN B
“Sons & Daughters have always brimmed with darkly sensual promise; that they’ve realised this in their poppiest work to date is a mark of their creative verve.” - TIME OUT ****
‘This Gift’ is a joy – the first release of 2008 that I unreservedly recommend.” - SUNDAY TELEGRAPH****
“A modern classic if ever we heard one.” - THE FLY *****
“A thoughtful literate act that rock harder than the filthiest Alabama roadhouse… with gifts like these our Sons & Daughters are spoiling us.” – CLASH
“Teaming, catchy, thrashing guitar hooks with sweetly ferocious vocals.” – DAILY MIRROR****
“Sons & Daughters have entered a braver, brighter new world.” - THE SUN****
