The former recoding engineer has been compared to Fiest and Regina Spector, but differs by playing traditional folk inspired music inspired by the likes of Woody Guthrie and other traditional bluesy favourites.

On ‘Fireproof’ Dawn demonstrates how she plays with the understated ease that her voice and style allow her. It’s a mesmerizing album that sits her firmly up their with contempories like Cat Power and Neko Case. Live, she captivates audiences with a hear-a-pin-drop hold – don’t miss the chance to see her live in March.
