The Hot Rats, AKA Gaz Coombes and Danny Goffey from Supergrass, have announced a UK tour in October to coincide with their debut single release, double a-side 'Damaged Goods' / 'Fight For Your Right'.
Having played triumphant sets on the festival circuit across the summer, it’s seems only right that Gaz and Danny now have the stage to themselves to showcase their latest musical incarnation. Having been holed up in a studio with über producer Nigel Godrich for two weeks with little more than wine and cigarettes to keep them going, their upcoming album ‘Turn Ons’ is a collection of cover versions of their favourite rock songs from the last 40 years. With the instantly recognisable vocal talents of Coombes and the familiar pounding beats of Goffey, ‘Turn Ons’ is a veritable rock rampage via the likes of The Sex Pistols, The Kinks and Gang Of Four.
