Seventy Entertainment Limited (SEL) is parent to a group of companies specialising in urban music and fashion. Based in Central London, it encompasses Seventy Recordings, Seventy Music Publishing, Seventy Management, Seventy Studios, Patchface Productions and Uber Urban.
SEL has had an incredible start to 2009, landing a worldwide distribution deal with [PIAS] and signing a slew of talented artists to their roster including Jamie Leo, Scrabull and Kosha. Their raison d'etre is that urban music; although one of the most established and biggest selling genres in the world; is still not invested / marketed sufficiently in the UK when it comes to home-grown acts. SEL has stepped into this space to reverse this trend and galvanise the UK urban scene by signing gifted artists and producing great music.
The Directors, staff and a rapidly growing fanbase believe that Seventy have started something which is truly unique to the UK music scene, a label where all genres and artists of an urban nature can converge, develop, record and release, without creative compromise or the masses of red tape and politics that is prevalent.
