BUG is a music video night which has been running at the BFI Southbank in London since April 2007. Subtiteld ‘The Evolution of Music Video’, its mission is to explore the range of creativity in music video today – from exciting work in mainstream videos, to off-beam DIY no-budget experimentation. Over the past two years, we’ve screened the most extraordinary, extreme and downright brilliant music videos from around the world, from both major video-making talents, to those made by complete unknowns on shoestring budgets. Since the outset, the shows have been hosted by comedy genius and music video fanatic, Adam Buxton (‘Adam & Joe’ on BBC6 Music).
