Metric release their new album 'Fantasies' and new live tour dates

“A beautifully constructed, shiny, shimmying pop belter…one butterfly that’s bound to cause a hurricane” – NME
“Indie pop splendour” – Metro
2009 will probably be remembered as the year that Canadian quartet Metric returned to reclaim their shiny pop throne from all the pretenders and wannabes; armed with a spine tingling new single, 'Help I’m Alive', spectacular new album, 'Fantasies', and now, a cracking live tour, to blaze across the UK in May.
'Fantasies', Metric’s fourth full length studio album, has been a long time coming. It is their first full-length release since 2005’s globe dominating record 'Live It Out', which spawned the smash hit 'Monster Hospital' and landed the band on TV shows like 'Grey’s Anatomy'. Metric fans can download an acoustic version of 'Help, I’m Alive' for free as of right now on the band’s website.
Upcoming Live Dates:

11 Academy 3, Manchester
12 Oran Mor, Glasgow
13 Kasbah, Coventry
15 Drowned in Sound night @ The Great Escape, Brighton
16 Thekla, Bristol
17 Oxford Academy, Oxford
19 Electric Ballroom, London
