Double Six Records are proud to release 'Smoke', the superb debut album from White Williams on the 21st April.
With interests as wide as Mexico and…er, New Mexico, White Williams is an intriguingly precocious young gent; a snazzy dresser, DIY ethics, good teeth and pristine pop tunes – a class act all round.
'Smoke' is a nostalgic, colourful and ambiguous album, recorded in Cleveland, Cincinnati, New York and San Francisco over the last two years while completing a graphic design education. The title alludes to the lyrics, which fade in and out of logic as smoke would diffuse into the air.
The new single 'New Violence' - out on the 14th April - pumps you up like the reassuring shoulder rub of a boxing coach. It moves like a butterfly and stings like a bee, psyching you up to hit that dancefloor into next week and beyond.
